South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics reportedly plans on making some of its latest smartphones running under Google's Android operating system available for purchase via more wireless carriers in the United States.

Two of these devices should soon be released on the airwaves of new wireless services providers in the country, namely the LG Revolutiona and the LG Optimus Black, some of the latest reports on the matter suggest.

The LG Revolution, a 4G LTE-capable mobile phone, is available for purchase via Verizon Wireless at the moment, and should be released at MetroPCS as well, it seems.

The device has just made an appearance in the Tera-WURFL database with model number MS910 attached to it, which suggests that the wireless carrier will be receiving it in the near future.

Apparently, 'MS' is the prefix that LG attaches to its devices that should be launched on MetroPCS, while the 910 number is similar with the one in Verizon's VS910.

MetroPCS already has a LTE network available in several markets around the United States, and it does not come too mush as a surprise that they are seeking to launch more handsets that will offer support for the airwaves.

As for the Optimus Black, it is listed with model number US855 attached to it in the said database. The phone's user agent string contains the USCC reference, which suggests that US Cellular might be receiving the device soon.

Not to mention that the 'US' prefix in the phone's model number was reserved for handsets that LG launches on the airwaves of this mobile phone carrier.

One thing that should be noted here is that the info in the Tera-WURFL database is user-contributed, which means that there is no confirmation on the upcoming availability of these devices through the said wireless carriers.

However, provided that the rumor will pan out, more info on the matter should emerge in the near future, so stay tuned to learn the news.
