LG Revolution Brings 3 Months of Free Netflix Until August 28th

All LG Revolution smartphones purchased at Verizon Wireless until the end of this week bring along three months of free Netflix service.

As part of a promotion that started two weeks ago, all LG Revolution buyers will be able to enjoy free access to the video streaming service straight from their mobile phones.

The promotion was put in place in collaboration with LG, and requires going to this page on LG's website to register for receiving access to it.

Users will receive a promotion code through which they will be able to enjoy the said free access to the Netflix service for three months.

“Netflix code expires 12/31/2011. Valid for 3 months of Netflix service on the Streaming Only plan, currently $7.99 a month plus applicable tax. Promotional code can only be used once and cannot be redeemed for cash, resold or combined with any other offers, including free trial,” LG explains.

“Streaming video on your smartphone can increase your data use substantially. Minimize the impact on your data allowance by streaming over a Wi-Fi network,” the company continues.

LG Revolution was the third LTE-capable Android-based smartphone that arrived on shelves at Verizon this year, following the launch of HTC ThunderBolt and Samsung DROID Charge before that.

The smartphone is available for purchase for only $199.99 at Verizon with the signing of a contract agreement, and can be acquired for $559.99 contract free.

Although only the third LTE-capable smartphone at Verizon, the LG Revolution was the first of them to come with the Netflix service pre-loaded on it.
