T-Mobile UK is one of the wireless carriers in the UK set to add the new LG Prada 3.0 smartphone to its offering in the near future. The smartphone was made official last year, and arrived on shelves in the South Korean market in late December.

At that time, LG announced that it would be launched in more markets around the globe in January. Now, UK carriers and retailers are gearing up for the release of this device, though we won’t see it available until next month.

The new device, the third to come out of the collaboration between the leading South Korean mobile phone maker and the renowned fashion label PRADA, is now up for pre-order in the UK.

T-Mobile says on its website that February will make the new smartphone official, but it did not make a formal announcement on the release date or pricing of the device.

Users interested in the purchase of this handset on the airwaves of Magenta should head over to the wireless carrier’s coming soon page to register their interest.

The LG Prada 3.0 mobile phone arrives on the market with 4.3-inch touchscreen NOVA display that can deliver a WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution. The screen is also capable of a 800-nit brightness, LG notes.

The new mobile phone also packs a dual-core application processor clocked in at 1GHz, complemented by dual-channel architecture.

The new mobile phone was packed with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for HD video recording capabilities.

The specifications list of this mobile phone also shows 8GB of internal memory, as well as Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities. It can deliver Mobile Hotspot as well.

LG Prada 3.0 is powered by a 1540mAh battery. It runs under Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, and should get a taste of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich too in the near future.
