LG already confirmed plans to launch an Android superphone powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, the Optimus G.

The smartphone will be launched in South Korea in October, followed by a global rollout a few weeks later.

Today, the handset maker announced the upcoming availability of another Android smartphone, the Optimus Vu II.

The device will be launched in South Korea next month, though the company has yet to announce the phone’s exact release date and pricing options. In fact, LG has yet to unveil the Optimus Vu II’s specs sheet.

So far, the South Korean company has only confirmed that the smartphone comes with Q Remote, an infrared remote control feature that allows users to control home appliances via infrared signals. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
