LG Optimus Me P350 is yet another entry-level Android smartphone, which strongly resembles the popular Optimus One. The phone has been introduced via Facebook a few days ago, but the manufacturer didn't unveil too many details about the phone's spec sheet at that time.

LG has now made available the technical specifications of the Optimus Me P350 and it looks that it will be even cheaper than the Optimus One, which is now sold for around $200.

LG Optimus Me P350 is powered by the same 600 MHz CPU and runs on the Android 2.2 Froyo platform. Chances for a later Android 2.3 Gingerbread upgrade look pretty slim.

The low-end smartphone comes with a 2.8-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with 262K colors support and 320 x 480 pixels resolution, which is slightly smaller than Optimus One 3.2-inch touch screen. It features an accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and proximity sensor for auto turn-off.

Just like its Optimus One predecessor, the device is fully HSDPA compatible and supports the latest Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity standard.

It also sports a standard 3-megapixel camera with autofocus, geo-tagging and video recording capabilities (VGA@24fps).

The phone's name “Me” suggests that the customers should be able to identify with their phone, as the smartphone is available in five colors: Natural Silver, Micro Titan, Aqua Blue, Powder Pink and Glamour Red.

Other key features of the smartphone include: Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and EDR support, Stereo FM radio with RDS, 3.5mm audio jack, 140 MB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 2GB card included), as well as GPS with A-GPS support.

Optimus Me P350 is powered by a standard 1280 mAh Li-Ion battery which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 450 hours of stand-by time or up to 5 hours of talk time.

According to LG, the Optimus Me P350 Android smartphone will be available in Europe in February, soon followed by other regions.
