14 DAY TRIAL // Today, wireless carrier MetroPCS has announced the release of its first Android-based mobile phone, the LG Optimus M. The new handset should become available for purchase at the wireless carrier on November 24, both via MetroPCS stores, as well as via the wireless carrier's website.
The new LG Optimus M comes to the market with a vibrant 3.2-inch touchscreen display that offers users the possibility to do more via a wide range of applications available for download on this handset.
Moreover, the wireless carrier announced that the new LG Optimus M sports the new Android 2.2 Froyo operating system, and boasts fast access to the Android Market, from where users can download any of the over 100,000 applications available for download there.
The handset will prove a great option for MetroPCS users when coupled with the $50 per month no annual contract plan at the wireless carrier, which offers nationwide unlimited talk, text and web services.

At MetroPCS, the new LG Optimus M was made available for purchase with a price tag of $229 attached to it, on the aforementioned price tag.
