We already reported that LG introduced the Optimus L9 last week, though the smartphone did not make it to shelves until recently.

Well, it looks like starting today, Android enthusiasts in India will be able to purchase the LG Optimus L9 for a suggested retail price of Rs 23,000 outright, which is about $420/ €325.

The latest addition in the L-Series smartphones, the Optimus L9 ships with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box.

Unfortunately, there is no confirmation for an upcoming Jelly Bean update, though the LG Optimus L9 certainly meets all hardware requirements.
