The mid-range LG Optimus L7 Android phone is now available for purchase in the UK. Customers who are not willing to commit to a long-term contract can grab the handset for only 234 GBP (365 USD or 290 EUR) outright.

UK-based retailer Handtec is among the first to offer the SIM-free LG Optimus L7. The smartphone comes with Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box.

The Optimus L7 is powered by a single-core Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon processor clocked at 1GHz, which is complemented by an old Adreno 200 GPU and only 512MB of RAM.

On the inside, the device embeds 4GB of internal memory (2.4GB user available), which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It also sports a 4.3-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display and a 5-megapixel camera.
