14 DAY TRIAL // Rumor has it that LG plans to launch more than one L-Style smartphones in Canada. Although the Optimus L7 has been almost confirmed at Rogers and Fido, it looks like the Optimus L5 might also be on track for a Canadian launch.
The folks over at MobileSyrup have just been tipped off on the possible release of the LG Optimus L5 at Bell Canada. For the time being, there are no details on availability and price tag, but it might arrive in time for the back-to-school program.
LG Optimus L5 is a mid-budget smartphone powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The phone is equipped with an 800 MHz single-core processor and sports a 4.0-inch capacitive touchscreen display.
There’s also a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, as well as a secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
