South Korean handset maker LG prides itself with more than 15 million L-Series handsets sold worldwide.

This is why the company decided to refresh its first-generation L-Series family of smartphones with three new models, Optimus L3 II, L5 II and L7 II.

LG has already confirmed the Optimus L7 II will be released in Russia by the end of this month, but no details have been disclosed on the rest of the L-Series II handsets.

Well, it appears that the LG Optimus L5 II has been confirmed to arrive in Europe, North America and Asia.

The smartphone was recently spotted at Bluetooth SIG by the folks over at UnwiredView where it has just received its certification.

The Optimus L5 II will ship with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean platform out of the box, along with a 1GHz processor inside. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
