As expected, Bell added the LG Optimus L5 to its portfolio of Android phones. Customers can now grab the smartphone for free on a three-year term.

However, there’s also the possibility to purchase the Optimus L5 for $200 CAD without having to sign for a long-term contract.

Although this is an entry-level device, the Optimus L5 runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and sports a large 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 320 x 480 pixels resolution.

In addition, the handset is powered by an 800 MHz single-core processor and packs 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory (2.5GB user available), as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Last but not least, LG Optimus L5 features a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, as well as HDPA and HSUPA support. Check it out here.
