It should be able to deliver advanced multitasking capabilities

South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics has already confirmed plans to launch a successor for its Optimus G flagship and, although it did not offer details on the device as of now, the handset is expected to be the first in the world to sport 3GB of RAM inside.

According to the latest reports on the matter, the mobile phone will hits helves with support for LTE-Advanced connectivity, although it will be usable only in South Korea, where the technology has already been deployed by SK Telecom.

Featuring 3GB of RAM will enable the upcoming smartphone, supposedly called LG Optimus G2, to provide users with enhanced multitasking capabilities, yet it remains to be seen whether this will pan out.

As PhoneArena notes, the phone was recently rumored to sport navigation control buttons on the back, also a first in the smartphone world.
