A new photo allegedly depicting the yet unofficial LG Optimus G2 smartphone is now available for your viewing pleasure.

Available courtesy of techtastic.org, the handset is said to sport model number LG D801, and to pack a Snapdragon 800 processor inside.

The newly leaked photo supposedly confirms that fact that the smartphone will be called LG Optimus G2, and that it is already under testing in LG’s labs.

Rumor has it that the new mobile phone will be launched with a 5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD resolution, and that it will run under Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system (though the platform might be upgraded before launch).

LG is also expected to load its own set of visual customizations on top of Android on this smartphone. Stay tuned to learn more on the matter.
