South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics is expected to announce a successor for its LG Optimus G smartphone before the end of the third quarter of the year, and some more proof on the existence of the device has emerged online.

Supposedly dubbed LG Optimus G2, the mobile phone was spotted in the AnTuTu benchmark in three flavors, one for each of the three wireless carriers in South Korea, namely SK Telecom, KT, and LGU+.

The phone was seen with model numbers LG-F320K / LG-F320L attached, along with a previously spotted LG-F320s, which confirms its upcoming arrival at said carriers.

The benchmarking results also confirm a 1.5GHz processor inside the LG-F320K model, while showing a 2GHz processor inside the LG-F320L model, as Blog of Mobile notes.

The LG-F320K was spotted with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean loaded on top, while the LG-F320L had Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean installed on it.

The two device models are also said to sport full HD touchscreen displays, and to be en route to wireless carriers KT and LG U +, respectively. The aforementioned LG-F320S model will arrive at SK Telecom, rumor has it.

Apparently, the LG-F320K and LG-F320S will feature LTE / W-CDMA / GSM capabilities when made available, while the LG-F320L will include LTE / CDMA2000 / W-CDMA / GSM.

These device models were spotted along with an undetailed LG-F340L smartphone flavor, which might arrive on shelves at LGU+, rumor has it.

The same as Optimus G2, this smartphone is expected to prove a high-end smartphone from LG, though it remains to be seen what exactly it will have to offer to users.

For the time being, however, no specific info on when these smartphones might be officially unveiled has been provided. Details on their release and pricing are missing as well, but stay tuned to learn more on the matter.
