LG confirmed a few weeks ago that it would bring the Optimus G in more than 50 countries, including Australia.

The South Korean company stated that the smartphone would be exclusive to Telstra, so Australians who don’t favor this carrier will not be able to grab it at an affordable price.

According to AusDroid, LG Optimus G will be launched in Australia on March 13. LG has already sent invitations for a launch event that has the Optimus G as the main star.

The smartphone is expected to ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and a powerful 1.5 quad-core processor.

LG Optimus G packs 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory and an impressive 13-megapixel rear photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.
