LG’s large Optimus G Pro smartphone has been available for purchase in the United States for quite some time now, on the network of wireless carrier AT&T, but it seems that it will soon arrive at another operator there, namely Sprint.

The handset has already received the necessary approvals from the FCC with support for CDMA and LTE band 25 frequencies, which make it compatible with Sprint’s Now Network, as Engadget reports.

Featuring model number LG LS980, the device is expected to bring its 5.5-inch touchscreen display to this wireless carrier in the not too distant future, yet no official details on the matter have been provided as of now.

LG Optimus G Pro was launched with a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, 2.1MP front camera, a 3140 mAh battery inside, and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean loaded on top.
