It looks like Rogers is among the first carriers to start taking pre-orders for LG's upcoming Android flagship smartphone, the Optimus G.
According to MobileSyrup
, the Canadian carrier has just opened up online reservations for the LG Optimus G. Obviously, this comes for a price, so customers who want to be among the first to own this device, will have to pay a $40 CAD reservation fee.
Although Rogers has yet to announce an exact release date for LG Optimus G
, word is that the device will go on sale in early November. Keep in mind that Optimus G will also be available for purchase from Bell and TELUS.
LG Optimus G will be shipped with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich platform out of the box, but the South Korean promised a Jelly Bean update will be delivered at some point.
