It looks like Rogers is among the first carriers to start taking pre-orders for LG's upcoming Android flagship smartphone, the Optimus G.

According to MobileSyrup, the Canadian carrier has just opened up online reservations for the LG Optimus G. Obviously, this comes for a price, so customers who want to be among the first to own this device, will have to pay a $40 CAD reservation fee.

Although Rogers has yet to announce an exact release date for LG Optimus G, word is that the device will go on sale in early November. Keep in mind that Optimus G will also be available for purchase from Bell and TELUS.

LG Optimus G will be shipped with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich platform out of the box, but the South Korean promised a Jelly Bean update will be delivered at some point.
