Some of the latest rumors regarding LG Electronics' plans for the Windows Phone operating system flavor suggested that the company might release a new flavor of Optimus 7, designed in collaboration with the German fashion house Jil Sander, and photos with the device are now available for your viewing pleasure.

Moreover, the newly leaked press photos, available courtesy of Pocketnow, are accompanied by a series of hardware specifications for the mobile phone, so that we could also make an idea of what it can offer in terms of performance.

The new mobile phone is expected to arrive on shelves with model number E906 attached to it, and should sport about the same internal as the original Optimus 7, it seems.

The same as the original, the new mobile phone is expected to arrive on shelves with a 3.8-inch WVGA touchscreen display, as well as with a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for HD video calling.

The new device also packs HSDPA 7.2 capabilities on the 900, 1900, and 2100MHz bands, along with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities, and built-in GPS receiver.

Apparently, the new mobile phone version is a little bit larger than the original handset, but is said to be weighing 15 grams (0.52 ounces) less than last year's LG Optimus 7.

Rumor has it that the new mobile phone will also come to the market loaded with exclusive content from Jil Sander, yet no official confirmation on this emerged for the time being.

However, the one thing that is certain is that the new device will run under Microsoft's new Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system, which has already started to arrive on Optimus 7 devices around the world.

Specific info on the release date of the new mobile phone has not emerged for the time being, but all the necessary details on its availability and pricing should be unveiled soon, so stay tuned for more on the matter.
