South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics is expected to come to the market in the near future with the first handset to sport a 3D display, the LG Optimus 3D, and a photo of the said device is now available for your viewing pleasure.

The handset is as good as confirmed for an official introduction at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month, though LG has still to drop an official word on the phone's existence.

However, in about two weeks from now, we'll learn that LG has brought to the spotlight a handset that would be none other than the one that can be seen in the photo to the left, courtesy of Phandroid.

There's no telling on whether this would indeed be the actual LG Optimus 3D, or if its display is indeed capable delivering three-dimensional images, so we'll take it with a grain of salt for the time being, but there is a great chance that this would indeed pan out.

According to the news site, some of the rumored specs of this device would include a larger than 4-inch touchscreen display, most probably a 4.3-inches one.

At the same time, the mobile phone is expected to arrive on shelves with a dual-core application processor inside, the same as LG Optimus 2X, offering the same or better performance than the already released smartphone.

Since both 4.3-inch handsets and dual-core ones are a reality, these specs are not surprising for what should soon become a flagship handset from LG.

Other specs of the device would include multi-channel RAM, and a front-facing camera.

The rest of the hardware specs of this behemoth were not unveiled for the time being but, provided that it would indeed be announced officially at the MWC show in Barcelona, it should not be long before the entire list it brought to the spot light, so stay tuned for more.
