It looks like Orange UK is about to launch another LG high-end smartphone, as Optimus 3G has just been listed on the carrier's 'Coming Soon' webpage.

After successfully launching the Optimus Black, Orange UK plans to offer its customers the first phone to feature glasses-free 3D view, shoot and share technology available on the market.

As usual, the device will be available for free on select pay monthly plans, but it will also be offered with pay as you go plans.

The phone has yet to make its debut overseas via AT&T as LG Thrill 4G. Although the device was announced two months ago, the carrier has vaguely stated that it will be available in the “coming months.”

Equipped with a high-speed dual-core and dual channel 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, complemented by a PowerVR SGX540 GPU.

In addition, the smartphone packs 512 MB RAM, 8 GB of internal memory, as well as microSD slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Besides the 3D technology embedded, another strong point of the phone is the large 4.3-inch 3D LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors and 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

The phone will be delivered with dual 5-megapixel stereoscopic 3D cameras, so users will be able to capture crystal-clear 3D images and record 720p HD 3D videos.

The smartphone is shipped with Android 2.2 on board and LG's proprietary 3D UI, but the phone is expected to receive the Android 2.3 Gingerbread upgrade later this year.

Other interesting features of the phone include: HSDPA (14.4Mbps) and HSUPA (5.76Mbps) support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, DLNA function, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP and EDR, integrated GPS, and Gyro sensor.

LG Optimus 3D is powered by a high-capacity 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery that should provide up to 100 hours of standby time or up to 4 hours of talk time.
