LG has announced today, on its official Korean website, the release of two new music oriented phones, the KM710 and KM380 models. We've heard about both of them before, but now Lg has came up with the markets where the handsets would be available. Well, these markets include about all the global regions, except for Europe and North America, and LG doesn't give any explanation for this.

Anyway, the new KM710 and KM380 phones are available in China and the rest of Asia starting this month, while the Middle East, Africa and South America will get the handsets later in the summer.

Resembling the KM500 model, released by LG not long ago (in March, more exactly), the new KM710 comes in a slider form factor and brings a big touch-sensitive navigation wheel that gets "animated" when used (allowing you to easily control the phone's music features), plus an alphanumeric keypad that unveils itself when the handset is slided. The features of KM710 include high-end speakers, Music player with Equalizer, stereo Bluetooth, a QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) TFT display with 256K colors, a 3.2 Megapixel camera with video and a 950 mAh battery capable of providing up to no less than 30 hours of continuous music playback time.

LG KM380 is more on the basic side, and it comes with a design reminding us of the one Sony Ericsson used for its W350 Walkman phone. The KM380 brings external music dedicated keys, Music player, FM radio, a QVGA display and so on.

Both the KM710 and KM380 feature an "LG Sound Engine" that should offer an advanced sound quality, and are said to have a special music User Interface.

The retail prices of KM710 and KM380 were not officially announced, but we do know that the KM380 comes for about $200 (as recently reported), while the KM710 will probably be two times more expensive.
