We've received overwhelming evidence that the next Nexus device will be launched by Google and LG. However, we still don't have enough info on the smartphone's exact release date.

Well, it looks like French newspaper Le Figaro has it from trusted sources it that LG Nexus 4 will be launched on October 29.

For the time being, it's unclear if this is a global or European release date, but the cited source claim the Nexus 4 will only go on sale in France sometime in December.

There are no details on the phone's pricing options, but we're likely to get more info when it goes official.

In the same piece of news, LG Nexus 4 recently appeared in Carphone Warehouse inventory system, which suggests that the device is indeed close to being launched on the market.

It will be interesting to see whether or not Google will start selling the LG Nexus 4 through its Play store, or perhaps carriers will be involved in this as well.

No word on a potential North American release yet, but we can safely assume the smartphone will reach US and Canadian shores soon after the official announcement.

When it comes to the specs sheet, we already have some info leaked in the past few weeks, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Anyway, we suspect the Nexus 4 will be shipped with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, or perhaps the latest 4.1.2 version.

The phone will be equipped with a powerful 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and a 4.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution.

On the back, the Nexus 4 is said to carry an 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front it will sport a secondary camera for video calls. Stay tuned for more updates on the subject.
