South Korean mobile-phone maker LG Electronics announced not too long ago that it planned to come to the market with new mobile phones that would be included in its Chocolate series, and we already saw the BL40 Chocolate Touch going official, yet now it is time to take a new look at a lower-end LG New Chocolate BL20 that should also reach the market shortly.

The handset, which originally slided into the wild under the name of LG BL42, has been recently spotted at the IFA show in Berlin in an LG brochure as the LG New Chocolate BL20, and has now emerged on the web in a series of new images that shows more color options for it, as well as in a promo video that confirms the New Chocolate BL20 moniker.

The color options that LG seems determined to make the device available in include black-grey, red-black, purple-grey and white-pink. Nothing is official for the time being, but it shouldn't be too long before the mobile-phone maker finally decides to announce the stylish slider. Until that happens, you should take a look at the new images that surfaced courtesy of AllAboutPhones and at the video that popped up recently.

In the meantime, a quick look at the specifications of the device shows that users will enjoy a 5-megapixel photo snapper, as well as a 2.4-inch display that delivers a QVGA resolution, which should bring along the S-Class 3D user interface from LG too. FM radio, Bluetooth capabilities, an HSDPA 3.6Mbps connectivity and 130MB of internal memory are also included with this device.

The phone is also expected to reach the market with a variety of features packed inside, such as Text Scan, which is said to enable users to take clear snapshots of memos or notes. All in all, LG seems to be focused on delivering nice-looking handsets to the market, and we refer here both to this slider and to the BL40 Chocolate Touch.
