We've known that LG was preparing a smartwatch for months now, but there was never a certain word on whether it will arrive before or after any of the others.

Now there is, at least according to certain people. LG might take the first arrival's crown on this one.

Even though Motorola's Moto 360, with its round display and wireless charging technology, has probably caught the attention and interest of more people, LG's G Watch could precede it in terms of availability.

The later rumor is that the watch will be up for sale before the second quarter is over, prior to July.

A bit larger than the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2, the smartwatch will have changeable straps and absolutely no buttons, oddly enough. No ports either, but it does have charging contacts on the back.

All in all, it seems as though LG G Watch will be the first wearable device running the Android Wear operating system. Its price will probably be of around £180, which corresponds to $300 and €218 according to exchange rates.

Of course, if history is any indication, we might not risk much if we look forward to $180 / €180. Prices usually reflect each other that way, even when exchange rates say the EU/UK ones should be lower.
