Those who were intrigued about LG’s latest tablet offering – the G Pad 8.3 – at the IFA 2013 should be also interested to know that the tech giant has already announced its availability in Korea.

LG was largely unsuccessful in its attempts to make a name for itself when tablets are concerned, but this new models managed to turn heads in Berlin this year.

The slate is an 8-inch device featuring a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and encloses a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 coupled with 2GB of RAM. The company boasts that the battery should be able to handle up to 300 hours of “mixed use” or to put it in real terms, 7-8 hours of actual browsing.

The LG Pad 8.3 in black or white will become available for South Korean consumers starting October 14 for the price of $510 / €376. Customers can grab theirs online from the official LG Best Shop or actually go acquire it on the spot from shopping malls and retail locations across Korea. Only a Wi-Fi model will be available at this point.
