It only took Amazon one week to smoke Verizon's price for the new LG Lucid 4G Android smartphone. While the carrier still offer the device for 80 USD (60 EUR) with a new two-year agreement, Amazon Wireless is not selling the LG Lucid 4G for just $0.01.

Obviously, the amount is symbolic as Amazon is in fact offering this deal only to customers who are willing to commit to a new two-year agreement. Moreover, existing customers eligible for upgrade can also take advantage of this offer.

LG Lucid 4G is one of the cheapest LTE-enabled devices available for purchase in the United States. The smartphone is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, but LG and Verizon confirmed the device will receive an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade pretty soon.

On the inside, the device packs a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 8GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
