Following the introduction of ASUS' latest portable computer system, which was featured with a new NVIDIA GeForce GT100-series graphics processor, LG has just announced a new notebook, dubbed XNote P510. The new 15.4-inch portable computer system has also been featured with one of NVIDIA's latest graphics processors, the GeForce GT130M, which has been combined with a choice of three Intel Core 2 Duo processors, enabling a high level of performance in a system that is said to weigh just 2.3kg.

The new notebook PC designed by LG has been featured with a 15.4-inch LED backlit display, capable of delivering a resolution of 1440 by 900 pixels, with the help of the GeForce GT 130M graphics chip featuring 512MB of VRAM. The company is ready to provide its customers with three flavors of the latest high-end portable PC, each one featuring a different CPU and overall hardware configuration.

LG's XNote P510 can provide support for an Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53GHz processor, part of a configuration that will also enable 2GB of DDR3 memory, a 320GB hard-drive, external optical drive and the much required WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n. A higher performance model is powered by a Core 2 Duo T9559 2.66GHz processor, combined with 4GB of DDR3 memory and a 500GB hard drive. The top model has been designed to incorporate a Core 2 Duo T9800 processor, 4GB of DDR3 memory and a dual-storage solution that combines a 64GB SSD for fast performance and a high-capacity 500GB hard drive.

All three models are bundled with a Windows Vista Premium operating system and are featured with a unique design on the cover of the system. Unfortunately, LG is yet to provide the pricing and availability details of the new laptop, but we’ll try to keep you informed as soon as these become available.
