Granted, the high-end of the smartphone market seems increasingly appealing, and with LG Electronics set to bring to shelves two new devices in that area, things will soon be more interesting than before.

We already had a look at the recently leaked LG Optimus EX from the handset vendor, and we can admire another high-end device from the company, namely the LG Optimus LTE.

The smartphone was already spotted into the wild before, though only its model number leaked at the time, namely LG LU6200, and a new set of photos with it is now available for your viewing pleasure.

The new handset should include features and capabilities that will easily make it a great rival to Samsung's Galaxy S II LTE, at least this is what the leaked specs list for it shows.

Those who are interested in this mobile phone should know that it is expected to arrive on shelves with a large 4.5-inch screen on the front, an AH-IPS LCD that can deliver an HD resolution (720 x 1280 pixels).

Moreover, the new device is said to pack a dual-core application processor inside, with each core clocked in at 1.5Ghz. It should be a Snapdragon processor, rumor has it.

The specifications list of this device should also include support for LTE connectivity, as well as Google's new Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system.

Apparently, the new mobile phone is expected to make an appearance on shelves in South Korea before the end of this month.

No specific details on the phone's arrival in other markets around the world have been unveiled for the time being, but chances are that it will be launched in more of them soon, maybe even in the United States.
