We reported less than two weeks ago that LG L40 would be coming soon to Australia and now it looks like the smartphone is available for purchase.

The folks over at AusDroid report that the LG L40 is now up for grabs at Boost Mobile for only $99 (€70) outright. Customers can choose from either black or white versions of the L40 and they will also receive some kind of headphones for free as a bonus and $10 starter credit in box.

LG L40 is an affordable smartphone, but it packs pretty decent specs. First of all, the handset ships with Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out of the box.

Secondly, it’s powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor. The phone is equipped with only 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, but users can further expand storage up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

The L40 also sports a rather small 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display and a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera with multipoint autofocus, fast snapshot and video recording.

Those who decide to go for the L40 will also get to take advantage of LG’s unique software features such as Knock Code, Plug and Pop and Guest Mode.
