A new phone from LG will soon hit the market in Australia and Singapore. LG-KU970 is the latest statement in elegance coming from LG and will be also available for Europeans and people in Asian countries sometimes in the near future.

LG-KU970 has smooth lines with metallic reflections that bring out the style of its design in all its beauty. It may not be the smallest mobile phone of this type, but its sizes are still reduced, as it measures only 13.8 mm in thickness.

One impressive aspect about this phone that adds to its appealing design is, without a doubt, the large display. The QVGA screen measures 2.2 inches with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Moreover, it has a mirror effect and a stainless steel case that makes it look like shiny jewelry which turns out to be even more appealing for women.

Another special feature that makes this phone stand out and differentiate itself from many others stands in its camera. No, it's not about the 2 mega pixel or the fact that it captures 3GP videos, but all about the worldwide appreciated Schneider-Kreuznach lens that it is equipped with.

This LG-KU970 can also play MP3s and polyphonic sounds. Connectivity is made by Bluetooth 2.0 technology and the phone also supports 3G with HSDPA of 3.6 Mbps. This means that an MP3 download is possible to take place in just a few seconds.

This phone is part of the LG Shine line of phones that started to be released in October 2006. It can be purchased at the retail price of USD800.
