LG's biggest hit has been by far the Chocolate mobile phone until now. Although it highly resembles this success, LG KU580 fails in being one itself.

LG KU580 mobile phone is also named the Hero, for an undefined reason. This is an elegant handset, with an impressive finishing. The case has smooth, straight lines and features the much appreciated touch sensitive navigation keys with backlight. Even the sizes might give it high chances of becoming successful, as it weighs only 73g at the dimensions of 94 x 53 x 16.5 mm.

The LG KU580 is easy to handle, has a similar design with that of the Chocolate mobile phone, but is still far from its good looks and even from its appreciation. Probably the biggest turn-off about this cellular is the resemblance with this previous big hit model which has been released by LG in the past.

LG KU580 comes with a 2 inch display capable of supporting up to 256k colors on a 240 x 320 resolution. The 2 megapixel camera may not make this phone stand out, although it will provide images of high quality. Moreover, this mobile phone comes with a microSD TransFlash memory card with 45 MB of space available.

The mobile phone is GPRS enabled and also comes with Bluetooth 2.0 capabilities. Connectivity is also available through a 384kbps 3G capability. As for entertainment, this handset supports MP3 files and also renders video images. Still, it might prove difficult to turn this device into a reliable one with an MP3 player integrated, as it lacks enough space for storing all songs. The solution for this might be that of choosing to use the FM radio instead of your own tracks and console oneself with this music rendering alternative.
