After being announced for a UK release, LG KS360, one of the latest QWERTY handsets to come from South Korea, is now ready to be launched all around Europe. The KS360 is mainly targeted for young users, thus it brings an array of features especially made for them.

[admark=1]The full QWERTY sliding keyboard will allow youngsters to send text messages, instant messages or emails in a quick and easy way, while the Web browsing capabilities are there to make sure social networking websites can be visited at any time.

The display of LG KS360 is a 2.4 inch one with 240 x 320 pixels and 262K colors. Although it's not a touchscreen in the full meaning of the word, it features touch-enabled dialing, which is pretty cool.

LG KS360's other features include: tri-band GSM connectivity (900 / 1800 / 1900) with both GPRS and EDGE, Music and Video players, Bluetooth 2.0, FM radio, a 2 Megapixel camera with video recording, USB 2.0 and 15MB of internal memory (expandable up to 4GB).

Talking about the new handset, Jeremy Newing, head of mobile marketing at LG Electronics, said: "With the popularity of social networking sites and instant messaging amongst younger audiences, the KS360 has been designed so they can access these features when away from their computer. This handset is perfect for this segment of the market. Its vibrant colors, easy-to-use QWERTY keypad and fantastic messaging features offer users a simple and fun device that will enable them to communicate with each other instantly."

Unfortunately, the price of the new QWERTY handset is not known yet, but we do know that it will be available in at least four color combinations, including: titanium with bright blue, white with soft pink, black with silver and black with red. These color variations should allow about all mobile users to pick a KS360 that suits their tastes.

If you're in Europe, wait for the new LG to be commercially available in the next few weeks. The handset will also be released in Asia and Latin America, but there's no word on the exact release date.
