LG India has recently released a new and affordable mobile phone from its Dynamite series, named KP199.

This new phone comes in a candybar form factor and packs several quite nice features for an entry-level handset – for example, it comes with 60MB of internal memory. And while this is not at all "huge," it's quite a lot for a cheap phone, considering the fact that even some high-end devices have similar built-in memory (Nokia's new 5 Megapixel N79 only has 50MB). The KP199 also supports microSD cards (up to 2GB) and includes a 1350 mAh battery that should last up to 11 hours in talk-time mode or up to one month in stand-by mode.

The other features of LG's new Dynamite include: a 1.8 inch TFT display with 128 x 160 pixels and 65K colors, tri-band GSM connectivity (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with GPRS, a VGA photo camera that can also record video, Music player, Video player, FM radio, Bluetooth 1.2 with A2DP, Web browser, SMS and MMS capabilities, Java, handsfree, USB, Anti-theft mobile tracker, alarms and so on. The handset measures 105 x 46 x 15.5 millimeters and weighs only 85 grams.

"We at LG Mobiles thrive for offering the finest and most essential features to our consumers," says Mr. Anil Arora, Business Group head at LG Electronics India. "Considering the importance and urge for communication, style and usability for the Indian consumer, we have come out with some never seen before features in our mobile segment. KP199 is not just a product but a package deal with all the important aspects, technology and features which are sure to entice and satisfy our consumers. The KP199, a fully loaded phone with advanced Multimedia Functions and Long Battery Life will definitely appeal our customers."

The retail price of LG KP199 is of 4,390 INR (around 100 USD or 69 Euros) and mobile users should find it as of now across India.
