LG has always found a way to make us do the big-eyed face full of surprise and now the time has come again. Not because we're talking about a phone with looks beyond belief or with a spec sheet to be desired but, instead, because today the phone that is the subject of this article, namely the LG KE260, has the "strange" factor that makes you wonder where did they come up with it. But - unlike other phones that also got the "original" factor pre-installed - this time anyone who has ever seen a Samsung D600 will surely see the LG phone as the knock-off that it is.

This is a phone with a slider form-factor and, as one could guess from the picture, with a smooth and silky black case, with enough curves and contours to give us the overall impression of the D600 it is meant to copy. If it wasn't supposed to do that in the first place, than LG might consider hiring some new designers, because Samsung's slider phone is the first that pops up in one's mind at the first glance of the LG KE260.

To clarify the things even further, I'm not saying this has been the original intention of LG, but if it was it is a lousy thing to do; on one hand because the D600 wasn't such a good device to deserve copying, not today, when there are better and nicer looking cell phones on the market ready to get cloned, and, on the other hand, because after the Chocolate hit, one expects much more from a mobile phone manufacturer such as LG.

Anyway, this is what you'll get: a clone of the D-series handset from Samsung working on GSM networks and let's hope that at least it won't have the same spec sheet as the Samsung device did.

LG, PLEASE, be a little more creative because you have already proven everyone you can do better than this!
