Either way, there will be both types of devices on sale before long

With all the wearable devices coming out, from smartwatches to augmented reality headsets and even gloves with integrated speakers, LG is preparing for a grand entrance into this segment.

This, at least, is what certain parties on the Internet are murmuring about.

It's not clear if LG is making a smartwatch or a fitness tracker or both. Probably both, but this raises another dilemma: which of them will be called G Arch.

Because that's, apparently, the brand that the company has chosen for its flagship wearable device.

If the watch is called G Arch, the fitness tracker could be called G Health instead, or something.

We'll find out next year, in 2014, maybe as early as the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2014), taking place from January 7 to January 10.
