Customers looking for freebies on Thanksgiving may want to take a look at U.S. Cellular’s offer. The carrier has just announced that three of its popular handsets will be available for free after a $100 mail-in rebate, for one day.

LG Genesis, HTC Merge and BlackBerry Torch 9860 will be available for free only online, for customers who are ready to switch to U.S. Cellular and commit to a two-year agreement, or for existing customers willing to add a new line to their service.

In addition, U.S. Cellular is waiving the activation fee and offers free shipping to all customers who take advantage of this promo.

New customers who choose one of the three devices offered for free will also receive 2,000 point bonus when they sign up for “My Account” within 14 days of starting service, while current customers who add additional lines will get the same amount of bonus points.
