As the release date of the first mobile phone running under Microsoft's Windows phone 7 operating system emerges, new details on the handsets that `might land on the market running under it become available, and the newly leaked info on a so called LG GW910 can be counted here. The said device has just emerged over at FCC with Windows Phone 7 on board and with support for AT&T's network, it seems.

According to the FCC filing (via Phone Scoop), the handset should be called LG GW910, and should land on shelves with a sliding form factor.

Sporting model number BEJGW910, the newly emerged mobile phone shows on the front the three buttons Microsoft imposes to all Windows Phone 7 devices to include.

Most probably, the sliding form factor is complemented by touchscreen features on that large display, especially since there is a mentioning of LG's S-Class user interface, which is aimed at touchscreen devices.

However, there are little chances that the mobile phone maker was allowed to perform modifications to Windows Phone 7's user interface, as Microsoft asked handset vendors to preserve the stock UI and not include their own solutions.

Interestingly enough, as Phone Scoop notes, the FCC filing does not mention support for Bluetooth or Wi-Fi as being included with the new device, but that doesn't mean that these capabilities won't be there.

All in all, it seems that we should add a new entry to the list of LG devices that would land on the market with Windows Phone 7 on board later during the ongoing year.

The company already said that it plans on being the first company to release Windows Phone 7 devices, and it seems that it might also be the vendor with the most such smartphones on the market in 2010.

however, nothing was announced officially for the time being, and we'll have to wait for October to arrive to learn more on these Windows Phone 7 handsets, since that would be the month when Microsoft launches the OS on the market.
