South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics came to the ComunicAsia 2009 expo in Singapore with a nice series of mobile phones, some of which we already reported on, namely the Windows Mobile-powered LG-GM730, or the LG-GD900 Crystal. At the same time, the company also introduced other handsets, such as LG GT500, LG GW550 or the LG GW520, which, though already spotted into the wild, can now be seen in more detail.

The first handset, LG GT500, comes with a 3-inch touchscreen display, that sports a 400 x 240 pixel resolution, as well as support for 16 million colors. At the same time, it also features in-car GPS navigation, so as to be able to offer a seamless experience to its users, as well as pre-installed WisePilot navigation, though, while the navigation license is free during the first month after purchase, those who would like to further benefit from it will have to buy one.

Other specs of the LG GT500 include the S-class UI that was launched on the market for the first time along with the LG Arena, as well as Wi-Fi capabilities, quad-band GSM and 3G with HSDPA connectivity, and a 5-megapixel photo snapper. According to the news, the handset should come to the market in UK on the airwaves of mobile phone carrier Orange, and it will sport the name of LG GT505. For the time being, it seems that this is the only country in which the device will hit the shelves.

The second handset is the LG GW550, a Windows Mobile 6.1-powered smartphone that sports a QWERTY keypad, a candybar form factor, a 2.4-inch TFT display, as well as quad-band GSM and 3G with HSPA on-board. In addition, it should also include a 3-megapixel photo snapper, as well as USB and Bluetooth connectivity, not to mention stereo speakers and the microSD memory card slot. No details on the availability or pricing of the phone are available at the moment.

The third LG handset, GW520, has been spotted in the wild before, yet it seems that a few more details on its specifications are now available. The phone comes with a 2.8-inch TFT display with support for 262K colors, quad-band GSM support and dual-band UMTS (900/2100 MHz) with HSDPA, built-in accelerometer, microSD memory card slot with support for up to 8GB of additional storage space and a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard. The phone should go on sale at the end of the month, though no geographies or pricing have been unveiled.
