The last flavor of Microsoft's mobile operating system, namely Windows Mobile 6.5, is set to come to the market as soon as October 6, when the first devices to sport it on board are also expected to make an appearance. LG GM750 is one of these devices, and LG, Microsoft and Vodafone already announced that the phone would come to the market in Europe on the carrier's airwaves.

There is still about a month to wait until the LG Windows phone comes to the shelves, yet the first live picture with it is already here, and Windows Mobile fans in Europe can have a better look at what will soon arrive to them. The LG GM750, which also sports the Layla code-name, has emerged via a twitpic from IFA, reports wmpoweruser.

We have already showed a few specs of the upcoming handset, yet we should provide a few more details for those that missed the previous reports. For the beginning, we should mention the 3.0-inch full touchscreen display (able to boast a 480 x 800 pixel resolution), which should prove great when coupled with Windows Mobile 6.5, considering the touch friendliness approach the OS should come with.

In addition, those who will try out this phone will also have the opportunity to enjoy a 5-megapixel photo snapper, as well as 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi capabilities, LG’s S-Class 3D UI, not to mention the array of services that Microsoft packed inside the upcoming platform iteration, including Windows Marketplace for Mobile, MyPhone, Windows Live or Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.

The LG GM750 Layla will come to Vodafone's airwaves in seven European countries, including Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and the UK, as well as France through SFR, and should be available exclusively with the carrier through the end of the ongoing year. No details on the price tag the phone will feature have been unveiled.
