The nice-looking LG GC900 Viewty Smart was officially announced for the European market last month, and now the first pre-production unit of the handset has made its way into the wild, so the first detailed preview of the full-touch feature phone is now available.

Said unit of LG GC900 Viewty Smart has made it into the hands of the guys from GSMArena, who took a close look at its capabilities and said that, though the handset did not come as a smartphone, it still had a lot of features, a great user interface and impressive imaging qualities to prove a great option for any user.

Those of you who are already familiar with the device will surely remember that it sports the Korean mobile phone maker's S-Class UI, while boasting an 8-megapixel photo snapper with Schneider-Kreuznach optics, LED flash, smile detection and video recording capabilities, as well as a 3” capacitive touchscreen TFT display that can provide a 480 x 800 pixel WVGA resolution and support for 16 million colors.

The specs list of the Viewty Smart also includes Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, Wi-Fi, TV-out, USB port, GPS receiver with A-GPS, Accelerometer, Multi-touch, DivX/XviD support, Dolby for Mobile audio enhancement, FM radio, 1.5GB flash storage coupled with microSD memory card slot with support for up to 16GB of additional storage space, GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, UMTS 900/2100, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, EDGE class 12 connectivity, and a Li-Ion 1000 mAh battery.

According to GSMArena, the phone comes with a “gorgeous display” and “best-of-class user interface,” while its photo snapper can offer nice imaging quality. However, only the design of the device is a smart one, while the “Viewty Smart name is a bit misleading.” For what it's worth, it does look like a great addition, so we are waiting for it to hit the shelves.
