LG has recently added two new handsets to its entry-level mobile phone lineup, namely the LG GB106 and LG GB110. The two devices come in small candybar form factors and are reported to be rather affordable products, delivering an optimal balance between their price and functionalities. Both LG GB106 and LG GB110 come with small color displays and feature built-in FM radios.

LG GB106 comes as a compact and ergonomic phone with a body made out of high-quality plastic and with rounded corners. The handset sports a combination of original titanovo, black and turquoise colors, which create a good-looking design. It comes with several hotkeys on its 5-way d-pad, and its FM radio functionality is active even without a handset, as it features built-in FM antenna.

The candybar sports a 1.5-inch display, external speaker and 1 MB of user memory. It comes with a 950 mAh Li-Ion battery that can deliver up to 400 hours of standby time and up to 4 hours of talk time, and it measures 102 x 45 x 14,55 mm.

LG GB110, the second newly-unveiled, entry-level mobile phone, also comes with a 1.5-inch CSTN LCD, stereo FM radio, which can be used without the need of a headset, and with hands-free mode. Unlike LG GB106, this handset sports a built-in VGA camera and a microSD card slot that supports up to 2GB of memory, and also allows for ringtones and pictures to be downloaded for customization.

The device also measures 103,5 x 45 x 14,55 mm, and it comes with the same 950 mAh Li-Ion battery as LG GB106. Basically, the two are very much alike, the main differences consisting of the camera and the microSD memory card slot. Both LG GB106 and LG GB110 are expected to become available later this month, yet no information on their price tags has been unveiled.
