Previous rumors claimed LG would not announce its next flagship smartphone, the G4 at Mobile World Congress 2015, probably in order to avoid being overshadowed by Samsung and HTC launch events.

Now that the trade fair is over and LG hasn't said anything about the G4, it proves that these rumors were accurate. Moreover, the South Korean company is expected to launch the LG G4 sometime in mid-April and from what we know the smartphone will be rolled out globally.

We've just received word that two versions of LG G4 have been spotted in the wild. The LG-H818 was spotted by the folks over at mylgphones at HTML5Test website, which we know it's the codename for the LG G4.

According to the cited source, this is the Asian version of the G4 and judging from the score results from the browser tests, the smartphone is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop.

In the same piece of news, Sprint's version of G4 is known as LS991 and has been recently listed in an update UA profile, once again, running Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Sprint has already updated the user agent profile for its LG G4 for a few times now and in one of the previous updates, the smartphone was listed as sporting a Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.

There's a small chance that LG will include its NUCLUN chipset inside G4

More rumors surrounding the LG G4 claim the flagship smartphone will feature some kind of fingerprint technology as well as updated hardware configuration.

The G4 is said to come packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal memory.

On the back, the device will boast a 16-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash, OIS (optical image stabilization), 4K video recording and autofocus, but there aren't any news regarding the front-facing camera and microSD card slot.
