LG is scheduled to release its latest and greatest flagship, the G4, during a media event on April 28. We've already seen the handset showcased in several promo materials and videos, as LG is relentlessly trying to promote its device even ahead of the big unveiling.

Not so long ago, we told you that LG said it would pick 4,000 lucky users who would be given the chance to test the G4 before the official launch. Well, now we’re hearing about a new promotion which targets early adopters of the handset.

In South Korea, LG will try to attract customers and convince them to make a purchase before May 31 by offering some extras to those looking to adopt the G4 ahead of everyone else.

Early LG G4 buyers to be awarded free goodies

For starters, the phone maker will be offering a one-year free screen replacement program for those clumsy users who somehow manage to crack or break the display of the new LG G4. But bear in mind that LG will replace the display just one time over the course of that year. So if you break it again, you’re on your own.

The second goodie for those buying the LG G4 before the end of May in South Korea is a 64GB microSD card. We currently don’t know if LG plans to expand these bundles outside the gates of Korea or not, but hopefully it will.

For those out of the loop concerning the LG G4, the handset is expected to arrive with a 5.5-inch QHD IPS capacitive touchscreen that supports 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, exactly like the Samsung Galaxy S6.

LG has also revealed a few details about the G4’s camera in a video teaser showing that the handset will have a camera aperture of f/1.8. Previous rumors claimed the phone would take advantage of a 16MP camera on the back with laser auto-focus, while in front would live a 7MP shooter for selfie-taking.

Apart from that, we know that the handset will be powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chip out of the box, fitted with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. LG is probably saving up the Snapdragon 810 in order to put it into another flagship model, which will apparently be placed above the G4 lineup.
