LG G3, the latest flagship Android-based smartphone from South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics, is set to become available for purchase in new color versions as soon as the next month.

The handset vendor has confirmed that two new color variants of the high-end mobile phone will be released next month, namely Moon Violet and Burgundy Red.

Both of these color flavors have been already listed on LG’s official website, yet no specific info on when they might arrive on shelves has been provided until now.

According to PhoneArena, LG has already confirmed the near availability of the new Moon Violet and Burgundy Red LG G3 models, but has not delivered exact details on when users in various markets out there will be able to purchase them.

“Additional G3 colors such as Moon Violet and Burgundy Red will be rolled out in select markets starting in August and continuing over several weeks. Exact colors and dates will be decided locally in conjunction with carriers. Announcements will be made in each market at the time of availability,” LG says.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the newly confirmed color variants were actually made official in late May, when LG G3 went official.

A total of five color options were revealed for the device at that time, namely Metallic Black, Silk White, Shine Gold, Moon Violet, and Burgundy Red, but only the first three of them arrived on shelves.

All five device models arrive on the market with the same hardware specifications, which means that those waiting for the upcoming colors will enjoy the same 5.5-inch Quad HD screen on the front of the handset, along with a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 CPU inside it.

The phone also sports a 13-megapixel camera on the back, with OIS, Laser Auto Focus and 4K video recording, as well as a 2.1MP front camera. Moreover, it arrives with 4G LTE connectivity, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS receiver, as well as with the usual set of sensors.

LG G3 runs under the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, while also packing various exclusive apps and features from LG. The phone was released in two iterations, one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, and the other one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

The phone has been already released in various areas out there, including the United States, and it remains to be seen whether it will arrive in all of them in the new Moon Violet and Burgundy Red color options as well.
