South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics has been long rumored to plan on bringing to the market a new, smaller version of its LG G3 smartphone, and a user manual for it appears to have leaked online.

The handset is rumored to arrive on the market under the name of LG G3 S and will sport model number D722. The leaked user manual for it shows version D722V, which suggests that it will land on shelves at Vodafone (the document appeared in Germany).

Leaked info on this phone, initially expected to arrive on the market as LG G3 mini, suggests that it will be released with about the same specs as the LG G3 Beat that emerged in China only several week ago.

No official confirmation on the matter has been provided as of now, but LG (the same as other mobile phone makers out there) has already released mini flavors of its previous flagship devices, and LG G3 should be no different from them.

Rumor has it that the handset will arrive on shelves with a 5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 720p resolution (the LG G3 was launched with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display), as well as with a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor inside.

Moreover, LG G3 S (or G3 mini, if you prefer this name) should feature 2GB of RAM, along with 16GB of internal memory. Most probably, a microSD memory card slot for storage expansion purposes will also be included inside the phone.

On the back, the smartphone is expected to feature an 8-megapixel camera with full HD video recording capabilities, paired with a front camera for video calling while on the go.

As mylgphones reports, the handset should run under the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system when launched, while also featuring LG’s latest user interface loaded on top.

The news site also notes that the LG D722 model is expected to arrive on shelves in Europe (with D722V headed to Vodafone) and that a D722K variant of the smartphone will be released in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan.

The handset is expected to hit shelves at AT&T as LG D725, while being en route to CIS countries as LG D724. When released in South America, it will sport model number LG D723/723AR, it seems.

No official confirmation on this device has been provided as of now, but it seems that it might not be too long before the phone is formally revealed, so keep an eye on this space for additional details on the matter.
