Mobile phone users in India interested in the purchase of LG’s G3 flagship smartphone can now pre-order the device, while expecting to receive it starting July 25.

The smartphone has been listed at online retailer Infibeam with a price tag of Rs. 46,990 ($784/€575) attached to it, with 16GB of internal memory. However, those who would like to go for the 32GB variant of the device will have to get Rs. 54,990 ($917/€673) out of their pockets for it.

LG G3 has been already rumored to arrive on shelves in India in mid-July, and it appears that things have indeed panned out. However, LG is expected to officially launch the phone in this country only towards the end of the month, most probably on July 25, when the phone goes up for sale.

The mobile phone, made official in late May, arrives on shelves with a 5.5-inch smartphone capable of delivering a Quad HD resolution, which makes it one of the most appealing high-end devices out there.

The price tag for the handset might seem a bit too high for many users, but the hardware specifications it arrives on shelves with are certainly worth every penny.

As AndroidOS notes, LG has priced previous devices quite appealing in India, although the LG G3 sports a rather high cost at the moment.

However, it would not come as a surprise if the phone received a price cut soon after the official launch, so that more users could afford buying it.

LG G3 arrives on shelves in India as a very high-end smartphone, capable of easily competing against devices coming from Samsung, HTC, and other companies.

The aforementioned 5.5-inch screen is accompanied by a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, paired with 2GB or 3GB of RAM (the RAM amount is related to the internal memory: the 16GB model sports 2GB of RAM, while the 32GB variant packs 3GB).

The handset also sports a 13-megapixel camera on the back, with LED flash, optical image stabilization, laser auto focus, and 4K video recording capabilities, paired with a 2.1MP front camera that supports full HD video.

The usual set of connectivity capabilities were also included in the phone, along with the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, complemented by LG’s own Optimus UI. LG G3 is powered by a 3000mAh battery.

Although only Infibeam is listing the LG G3 at the moment, the smartphone is expected to arrive at other online retailers in India as well. Stay tuned for more on this.
