LG G3, the latest flagship Android-based smartphone from South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics, is finally available for pre-order at wireless carrier Verizon in the US.

The handset was officially confirmed for this operator back in May, but no specific details on its availability have been provided until now.

Today, however, users in the United States interested in getting the smartphone on Verizon’s network can reserve it, while expecting their units to start arriving on July 17.

Users will be able to choose between the Black and White flavors of the device, while having to pay only $99 (€73) for it with the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier.

Those who would like to purchase the smartphone without a contract will be able to do so as well, though they will need to pay $599.99 (€440) for it. The handset can be seen listed on this page on Verizon’s website.

Even better, we should note that the LG G3 will arrive on shelves at Verizon Wireless with 3GB of RAM inside, as well as with 32GB of internal memory, which will certainly make it a great option for a lot of users out there.

The handset lands on the operator’s network with all of the features and capabilities it went official with in late May, starting with the 5.5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a Quad HD resolution.

Moreover, the handset sports a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 graphics, which will deliver great performance capabilities when paired with the aforementioned 3GB of RAM.

The handset also sports a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, while offering support for Verizon’s 4G LTE network (it is XLTE-ready, as the carrier notes).

On the back, LG G3 sports a 13-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization and 4K video recording, which has been paired with a 2.1MP front camera for making video calls while on the go.

The flagship smartphone arrives on shelves with support for 3G networks (HSDPA, 42 Mbps; HSUPA, 21 Mbps), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, and a built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS support and GLONASS.

LG has released the handset with the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system loaded on top, while also adding its own set of customization options and exclusive applications to the mix.

“The LG G3’s Smart Keyboard makes typing easy, fast and accurate. The virtual keyboard offers adjustable height, so it’s comfortable and tailored to you. Use simple gestures to complete and move words,” Verizon notes.

“Smart Notice offers suggestions before you even know to ask. Get recommendations based on the time, your location, events, status of your phone and behavior. For example, get reminders to return missed calls or learn when your office Wi-Fi is in range.”
