Mobile phone users in the UK interested in the purchase of the LG G3 smartphone will be able to grab it on the network of wireless carrier Three in the near future and can already reserve it ahead of the official release.

According to the wireless operator, the flagship Android-based handset is expected to arrive on its network on June 26. Users can pre-order the mobile phone today for £0 upfront on the carrier’s £35-per-month plans, straight from the carrier’s website.

LG G3 is undoubtedly a highly appealing handset and might attract a log of users to its side, especially courtesy of its large 5.5-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a Quad HD resolution.

In fact, this was the first smartphone from a top vendor to arrive on the market with such a touchscreen display, as Samsung’s own response to it, the Galaxy S5 LTE-A, will be released only later this month in South Korea.

However, the large screen is not the only appealing feature that the new device arrives on shelves with, since it can also offer high performance capabilities, along with impressive imaging features.

LG G3 arrives at Three UK with a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor inside, as well as with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory (though LG also unveiled a model with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage). A microSD card slot with support for up to 128GB of additional storage is also included.

On the back, the new flagship mobile phone sports a 13-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabalisation, LED flash, and support for 4K video recording. A front camera for making video calls while on the go was also included.

We should also note that the smartphone is powered by a massive 3000mAh battery, and that it also features wireless charging capabilities right from the start. Not to mention that it comes with back-mounted buttons, the same as its predecessor, the LG G2.

The new handset runs under the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, but it also sports a variety of exclusive applications and software capabilities coming from LG itself, such as Knock Code, Kill Switch, and more.

“With people using their phones for more and more things these days, phone security is becoming that much more important. People want to know that if their phone fell in to the wrong hands, it wouldn’t automatically mean a security compromise,” Three notes in a blog post.

“LG recognize this and have incorporated a couple of key security features. Knock Code is a discreet way to wake up and unlock your phone. It uses a unique pattern that you can hide from view. And if the worst happens and you’re no longer in possession of your phone, you can use Kill Switch to either disable or completely wipe your G3 remotely.”
