The smartphone sports a price tag of $199.99 (€147) on contract

LG G3, the latest flagship Android-based smartphone from South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics, is now available for purchase in the United States on the network of wireless carrier Sprint too, at $199.99 (€147) on a two-year contract.

The mobile phone was made official in late May, and it has already arrived on shelves on various markets out there, where it did manage to impress people, early reports suggested.

Over the past few weeks, the smartphone has also been released in the United States, on the networks of wireless carriers such as Verizon and AT&T, and it is now available at Sprint as well.

At this wireless carrier, the high-end device sports a price tag of $599.99 (€441) if purchased without the signing of a contract agreement. It can be seen on this page on the carrier's website.

LG G3 was launched with a 5.5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a Quad HD resolution, which should provide users with a great viewing experience at all times.

The handset also arrives on shelves with a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor inside, as well as with 3GB of RAM, which is accompanied by 32GB of internal memory. Moreover, it sports a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 128GB of additional storage space.

On the back, the LG G3 sports a 13-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and 4K video recording capabilities, which is complemented by a 2MP front camera for making video calls while on the go.

The high-end mobile phone is powered by a 3000mAh Li-Po battery that can deliver up to 24 hours of talk time, while running under the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

LG G3 will also provide users with support for Sprint’s 4G LTE network, as well as with the entire range of usual connectivity capabilities, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC. Not to mention that it sports a built-in GPS receiver, along with the whole range of common sensors.

Moreover, it will provide users with HD voice, for a great experience when making video calls. “Experience crystal clear call quality with reduced background noise while calling another Sprint HD Voice-enabled phone on the Sprint network,” the carrier notes on its website.

At the same time, the phone is available at this operator with Wi-Fi Calling, Sprint Direct Connect Now, Sprint ID, Sprint Zone, HDtracks, and SprintSpark support.

“Wi-Fi Calling lets you call and SMS through your Wi-Fi connections at your home, office or any location that has an open network. Enable the service by opening the Wi-Fi Calling app on your phone and experience great coverage and domestic calls at no charge,” Sprint notes.
