Starting today, mobile phone users in the United States interested in the purchase of the LG G3 smartphone in the country can now grab it on the network of wireless carrier AT&T.

The handset was made available for pre-order through the carrier on July 8, but shipments begin only today, when all those interested in getting it can do so.

On AT&T’s website, LG G3 can be bought at $199.99 (€147) with the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier. However, those who would rather purchase it without a contract will have to pay $579.99 (€426) for it.

For those out of the loop, we should note that LG G3 was made official in late May as the latest flagship Android-based smartphone from the South Korean vendor.

The phone has a nice range of high-end capabilities to provide users with, the most appealing of them being the fact that it sports a 5.5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, at 538 ppi.

Moreover, the handset was announced with a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, and arrives at AT&T with 3GB of RAM. Moreover, it also features 32GB of internal memory, along with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 128GB of additional storage space.

On the back, the Android-based flagship sports a 13-megapixel camera with Laser Auto Focus, Optical Image Stabilization, and dual LED flash, which is also capable of recording videos in 4K resolution. Additionally, the device sports a 2.1MP front camera for making video calls while on the go.

LG G3 arrives on shelves at AT&T with support for the wireless carrier’s 4G LTE connectivity, as well as with HSPA+ with enhanced backhaul, and the usual Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC capabilities.

The handset is powered by a 3000mAh Lithium Ion (removable) battery, which can deliver up to 21 hours of talk time, or up to 28 days of standby time.

Moreover, LG G3 runs under the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, with LG’s own Optimus UI loaded on top, thus providing users with a series of exclusive features and applications, such as Knock Code, Smart Notice, Smart Keyboard, Smart Cleaning, Dual Window, Qslide 2.0, and more.

“The LG G3 is the ultimate device in connectivity and efficiency, making it one of the best smartphones LG has ever made. Priding itself on working smarter, G3 brings intuitive technology, a 3000 mAh Lithium Ion battery, and a powerful quad-core processor to your mobile lifestyle,” AT&T notes.
